Diff Locker

There are a multitude of different diffs available for your Land Rover - read about the different types of locking diffs A unique non-rotating annular piston locking actuator is designed to eliminate air leaks sometimes found with rotating seals. The annular piston is also designed to eliminate the oil blow back in the air exhaust line. The large piston area gives maximum hold-in force to reduce the possibility of jumping out of lock. Locking ring gives full 6mm positive engagement with side gear, again reducing the possibility of jumping out of lock. Gears have been redesigned for maximum strength and durability. The lock ring is made from high spec 300m steel to provide ultimate strength and ability to withstand shock loads. Locking actuator cage made from steel to withstand shock loading caused by power locking. Locker body turned from billet 817M40T (EN24T) to give optimum strength. Only change necessary to fit the locker is drill and tap the diff housing bsp for the air feed fitting. No changes to the axle case. Requires on board air supply - not supplied.
