The considerable weight of the spare tyre on the rear door of your Defender can sometimes make using that door awkward, especially if you're parked on a hill. The same tyre also restricts your view when driving. To help alleviate these problems or to change the look of your Defender, you can now remove the rear tyre and fit colour co-ordinated blanking plates (once painted) to the rear door.
